HADLEIGH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ON

Hadleigh’s Christmas lights were switched on at 4.30pm on Saturday 30 November when a large crowd gathered near the town’s Christmas tree. Rev. Ruth Cartwright led the community carol singing that preceded the switch-on and the Deputy Mayor of Castle Point, Cllr Pat Haunts, led the countdown. Afterwards, refreshments were kindly provided by the members of St James the Less Church, Hadleigh’s 13th century parish church. Thank you to all those who were involved in any capacity.
